OUTREACH

INSPIRE

SWE strives to spread the possibilities of engineering to younger students, especially girls. We are currently working with elementary and middle schools in our community to expose students to STEM-related activities. Some of the activities include building paper bridges, spaghetti and marshmallow towers, straw rockets, science experiments and more. Additionally, bringing our cars to show the kids and teach them how they work.

STEAM Fest

In October 2023, SWE participated in the STEAM fest held at Wheaton and Edison high schools. Members of SWE were able to talk with kids and parents from all over the county about the car and what our club does.
